NSL 2019 SENIOR Wii BOWL CHAMPIONSHIPS READY TO START 11TH SEASON

June 14, 2019

It’s time to get your team(s) together for the 2019 NSL Senior Wii Bowl Championships.  Early registration is now open by clicking on REGISTER NOW found on the gold banner.  Registration fee is $150 for up to 10 teams per community.  The season begins the week of Aug 12th and ends mid October depending on your playoff status.  Tell your friends about us - Wii Have a Great Thing Bowling On!

Champions of the 2019 NSL Spring Championships - In the Champions Division the Turkey Hunter of Pine Village, Moundridge, KS defeated Bristol 1, Bristol Senior Center, Bristol, CT.  In the Super Elite Division Towns Rolling Pins defeated Banks Bowlers.  Both teams played for Legacy Links Area Agency of Aging of Oakwood, GA.  In the Elite 1 Division Up Your Alley ‘B’, Kingsport Senior Center, Kingsport, TN defeated HC 4 Spares and a Strike, Enrichment Centers of Huron County, Norwalk, OH.  The Elite 2 Division featured GSC Village People 2, Good Shepherd Communities, Endwell, NY edged out Towns Hot Shots, Legacy Links Area Agency on Aging, Oakwood, GA,  In the Super Master Division Cedar Village, Cedar Village Retirement, Mason, OH defeated TREES, Woodlands, Lebanon, NH.  The Master 1 Division had two teams from Ebenezer Senior Housing, Minneapolis, MN - Elephino defeated the Misfits.  And in the Master 2 Division the Hamlet High Rollers, Village of Unity, Rochester, NY upset the MARQ Alley Cats, Marquette Senior Living, Indianapolis, IN.

The breakdown of Divisions:
Champions - teams average 250 pins and above for each bowler
Super Elite Division - teams average 225 to 250 pins for each bowler
Elite 1 Division - teams average 200 to 250 pins for each bowler
Elite 2 Division - teams averaging from 180 to 200 pins for each bowler
Super Master Division - teams average from 160 to 180 pins for each bowler
Master 1 Division - teams average from 140 to 160 pins for each bowler
Master 2 Division - teams average less than 140 pins for each bowler

The NSL features senior bowlers from all walks of life and all levels of abilities.  We feature bowlers from CCRC’s, Independent Senior Living Communities, Affordable Housing Communities, Senior Centers, VA Hospitals and Nursing Homes.  We feature Senior Wii Bowlers with disabilities, bowlers in wheel chairs and legally blind bowlers. 

2019 NSL Fall National Championships begin the week of Aug 12.  Registration opens Jul 1.

About the NSL

  • Play in your own community - no travel
  • 4 bowlers on a team
  • Nintendo Wii or Microsoft XBOX are accepted NSL virtual bowling programs
  • Play in one of 7 divisions based on level of ability
  • Play one day each week for 7 weeks followed by up to 3 weeks of playoffs
  • Post scores on line by Thursday 9 PM
  • See results on line 9 AM Friday
  • NSL provides oversite, schedule, STATS, awards and team webpage

NSL BREAKDOWN OF DIVISIONS

Wii bowlers in the NSL compete in 7 divisions.  Divisions are determined by the average score of the 4 bowlers making up a team.  Divisional breakdowns——CHAMPIONS (average 250 to 300); SUPER ELITE (average 220 to 250); ELITE 1 (average 200 to 220); ELITE 2 (average 180 to 200); SUPER MASTER (average 160 to 180); MASTER 1 (average 140 to 160); MASTER 2 (average less than 140 pins).
