2012 NSL CHAMPIONSHIPS

The NSL 2012 spring schedule includes 9 championships in 3 divisions.  State Championships in Georgia, Florida (Elite Division) and New York (Master Division) highlight the schedule.  Eastern and Western Champions will be crowned in all three divisions - Master, Elite and Championship.  Teams are competing in conferences of 8 teams.  Conference champions and selected runner-ups advance to the playoffs beginning in April.

One hundred fifty one (151) teams from 85 senior communities representing 26 states with more than 850 roster Wii bowlers have entered the competition.  Last years National Champions, the UnbeWiivables from Margaret Schwienhaut Senior Center, lead 16 teams in the Eastern Championship Division while the Alley Oops, Santa Clarita Senior Center lead 8 teams competing for the Western Championship title.

Teams from Independent Senior Living Communities, CCRC’s, Assisted Living Communities, Nursing Homes/Rehab Centers, Senior Centers, and Affordable Housing Communities compete in the NSL.

2012 NSL SPRING COMPETITION BEGINS THE WEEK OF FEB 13TH

Registration for the NSL Spring Championships ends at 5 PM on Monday, Feb 6th.  The schedule will be available on Feb 9th and the first match is the week of Feb 13th.  Coaches may input team and Wii bowler information beginning Monday, Jan 30th.  Wii bowlers will bowl 7 weeks of conference play followed by 3 weeks of playoffs.  The NSL Spring season will feature Regional and State Championships depending on the number of teams registered in each state.  We are expecting between 120 and 150 teams.  REGISTER NOW.

Teams will compete in divisions based on levels of play - the Championship Division (teams scores average 225 to 300); the Elite Division (team scores average 175 to 224); the Master Division (team scores average less than 174).

Teams compete in their own communities.  There is no traveling in the NSL.  Coaches post team scores each Thurs night.  Results are available for viewing at http://www.nslgames.com on Friday morning.

NSL 2012 SPRING SCHEDULE FEATURES STATE/REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS

Registration is open for the NSL 2012 Spring Senior Wii Bowling Championships.  The new season brings a new format.  NSL senior teams will compete in State Championships or Regional Championships depending on the number of teams signing up in each state.  States that have a minimum of 16 teams signing up will compete in their state championship.  Teams that have less than 16 teams sign up will compete in regional championships - the East, the Midwest and the West.

Teams will compete in divisions based on level of play - the Championships Division (team scores average 225 to 300), the Elite Division (team scores average 175 to 224) and the Master Division (team scores average less that 175).

Competition begins the week of Feb 13th and ends in late April.  NSL Wii bowlers compete for 10 weeks - 7 weeks of conference play and 3 weeks of playoffs.  Teams compete in their communities and post scores on line at http://www.nslgames.com
